cows are the backbone of our program. Our Angus cow herd originated from Gardiner Angus in Kansas and Sitz Angus in Montana.
Our Gelbvieh herd originated from some elite cows purchased at the Lettunich and Sons dispersal in Idaho. We have developed our program by keeping daughters and granddaughters of the strongest cow families and continue to AI them to the best sires available.

We make no excuses for our cows. They must breed up, flesh up, be good uddered and have a quiet disposition. We select for sound made, well balanced cattle that have plenty of rib and muscle. We utilize EPD’s to select for optimums and to avoid extremes. Consequently, our cows are functional and productive.
